Banana Rum 55% Milk Hot Chocolate

As purveyors of cocoa, we tend to be purists when it comes to hot chocolate. We like to let the chocolate do the talking. However, when you get a pairing like Discarded’s Banana Peel Rum and the fruity banana notes of our 55% Milk Chocolate, it’s hard to say no. We are certain this boozy hot chocolate will be your new favourite festive tipple!

    • 50g 55% Milk Chocolate Buttons

    • 240ml Milk

    • 25ml Discarded Banana Peel Rum

      Soft whipped cream and 55% Dark Flakes for garnish

    • Add the milk and 55% Milk Chocolate buttons to your Dualit (or pan) heat and until thick and foamy (whisking if using the hob).

    • Pour the rum into your mug of choice, followed by the hot chocolate.

    • Decorate with a dollop (or two) a cream, a sprinkle of 55% Flakes and enjoy!
