Test Kitchen: almond Milk Pairings

for January we are exploring the world of alt milks and how they pair with our range of chocolate. NEXT up for testing: Almond MILK.

1. 85% BUTTONS + RUDE HEALTH ALMOND Milk

A very fun fruit cup of cocoa ! Quite light in texture which makes it easy to drink. Although not that creamy (unsurprisingly) the fruity notes make up for it.

Try our 85% Dark Chocolate Buttons. Available in 2kg bags.

2. 55% FLAKES + PLENISH ALMOND Milk

Really great pairing. Toasted notes from the milk go really well with caramel and nutty notes from the chocolate. Not too sweet for the % also (generally the flakes go really well with the almond milks all round).

Try our 55% Dark Chocolate Flakes. Available in both 200g tins and 2kg bags.

3. 55% FLAKES + M&S ALMOND MILK (Unsweetened)

Very delicious. Nutty flavours from both the milk and chocolate pair very well. Citrus notes help to balance the sweetness. Quite thick too so feels very indulgent.  At some point we stopped testing it and just drank it...

Try our 55% Dark Chocolate Flakes. Available in both 200g tins and 2kg bags.

4. 45% POWDER + ALPRO ALMOND MILK (UNSWEETENED)

A great introduction into almond hot chocolate, the sweetness of the milk helps to balance the rich cocoa notes whilst not being overwhelmingly sweet.

Try our 45% Dark Chocolate Buttons. Available in both 200g tins and 2kg bags.

5. 45% Buttons + ALMOND BREEZE ALMOND MILK

Quite a light texture overall,  which highlights the rich cocoa taste from the powder but also makes it very easy to drink. Quite an intense flavour, definitely for the classic hot chocolate lovers!

Try our 45% Dark Chocolate Buttons. Available in both 200g tins and 2kg bags.
