FIERY ORANGE & CARDAMON HOT CHOCOLATE - IMMY MAY


INGREDIENTS:

2 Mugs Plant-based milk
1.5 tbsp Islands cocoa powder⁠
1 tbsp Dark sugar⁠
Sprinkle of sea salt⁠
4 Green cardamon (the seeds)⁠
1 Orange with all its peel⁠
A Generous handful of Islands 70% Hot Chocolate Buttons⁠

METHOD / BAR TO MUG:⁠

In jug of milk, add cocoa + dark sugar. Whisk until combined.⁠


In small pan on low-medium heat, add milk mixture crushed cardamon (just the seeds from the inside), orange peel + salt.⁠


Keep stirring as it gets steamy, then add your CHOCOLATE⁠ Continue to stir until chocolate is melted⁠.


Whisk until smooth, then remove from heat⁠.

Pour your hot chocolate through a sieve to remove the cardamon seeds & orange peel⁠.


Breath, sip + enjoy.
